You can change the default WiFi network name (SSID) and password on your XNET device through its admin panel.
Steps
- Connect to your XNET device via WiFi or Ethernet cable.
- Open a web browser and go to the device's admin page. The address is typically printed on the device label (commonly
192.168.1.1or192.168.0.1). - Log in with the admin credentials (default credentials are on the device label).
- Navigate to WiFi Settings (may be called Wireless, WLAN, or Network Settings depending on your device).
- Change the SSID (network name) to your preferred name.
- Change the password to a strong password you will remember.
- Save your changes.
- Reconnect all your devices using the new WiFi name and password.
Tips
- Choose a unique WiFi name so you can easily find your network.
- Use a strong password: at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- After changing settings, you will be disconnected and need to reconnect with the new credentials.
